Kenja would be the literal term for sage or philosopher in Romaji.Yami Bakura's design incorporates multiple layers of clothing and a wide range of expressions. Kenja is made up of two words in Japanese 賢者 Its pretty formula stuff but the concept of the story makes it interestingĭepending on what subbed version you watch, the name of the puzzles (Sage Puzzles or Philosopher's Puzzles) will either be directly subbed to say Sage/Philosopher Puzzle or Kenja Puzzle Theres some of the basic elements of an anime, the protagonist and the funny rival that usually becomes the friend and a few other things. Puzzles that get solved are side-stepped as to make it unclear on how exactly to solve it. Its not quite like detective conan, where the creators logically explain how everything is done. This is an anime im really getting into, I quite like it. After successfully solving the puzzle, Kaito is designated as a Solver and is joined by other Solvers as they battle POG all over the world by solving the "philosopher's puzzles". The puzzle turns out to be a life-threatening "philosopher's puzzle" created by the mysterious group POG (Puzzle Of God). He and his friend Nonoha find an "unsolvable puzzle" near their school. Kaito, a puzzle-loving high school freshman, is selected as a candidate for "Phi Brain". A manga adaptation by Yoshiki Togawa began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine from November 2011. The anime has been licensed in North America by Sentai Filmworks. Hajime Yatate, the collective penname for the creative staff at Sunrise, is credited with the original story. The series is directed by Junichi Sato with script supervision by Mayori Sekijima. Phi Brain: Puzzle of God (ファイ・ブレイン 神のパズル Fai Burein Kami no Pazuru?) is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Sunrise which began airing on NHK-Educational from October 2, 2011.
